[animation excercises]

hey, good stuff

Ive been a full time animation student for 3 years now, your stuff is really good, buuut if theres any advice it would be to keep your lines loose... and also as just first time animations you spent too much work on designing characters and drawing in all that detail!!! it detracts from the animation itself, heheh, but thats just my opinion theres nothing wrong with it I guess. Keep up the good work! your already better then some people I know that have been in animation for 4 years!!!

You inspired me to start submitting animations again, the last animation I posted here was made about 5 years ago, haha

sorry, I didnt like it that much... next time please take the time to plan out a story board... and watch other more succesful movies to get a sense of "timing" because to be honest the way you did the cuts and paced the movie was quite boring to me. Im sure with just another day or two in editing you could turn this into a really good animation.

ohh, and one more thing, people arnt going to rate you low because its based on runescape, but in fact they will rate this movie much higher...

I really liked your story telling... but

I love this series, but the only real problem I have is that there really isnt any animation going on. But, then again, perhaps if there was too much movment then it would detract from the story telling... regardless, I really relate to your character there, I even had his same hair, and I would get beat up too, and I had a gf that I loved dearly for so long and she is now gone forever.... anyway, good job overall, I cant wait to see how it ends.

Im sorry but your work (that you submit to newgrounds) seems to be going downhill. Instead of your usual genuine creativity of your early work you seem to be trying to hard lately. Your thinking too much about it, like trying to "plan" a sense or feeling your animations will provoke, but thats how your earlier movies worked. They were made by you and reflected you (maybe without even trying), but in your new work, again, I just think your trying too hard and should step back and consider what made your ealier work amazing. By the way I am a fan of yours, and still think this movie was better then most of the crap that gets on front page.

Not how the joker originated.

That was not the origin of the Joker, sure he fell into some chemicals at one point, but you just disregarded the entire batman series and ignored/desicrated the original history of the Joker. In fact what your doing now (ruining the series) is exactly what the new animated Batman series is doing, taking well developed villians and trivializing their history and overall character.

It might not have the best art work but the animation is decent and the pacing is perfect. Not to mention this is prety funny. Good job !

Tired style, Ive seen stuff like this before

Im sorry but I see this as one being on the lesser side of Newgrounds animations. I did like the drawing style of that girl though. Anyway the animation showed you had some skill but its hard to say since it was rather sloppy. Consider yourself very very lucky for having this on the front page.
